This course is designed for the student or savvy businessperson who wants to acquire the skills needed to effectively interact and utilize the resources of the Internet and its new component, the World Wide Web (WWW). To accomplish this, the student will become well versed in using browsers, file transfer protocols, news groups, e-mail, and chat/conversation utilities.

This course is for ETAP students working for GA-ASI and  introduces Unix and Linux operating systems. Topics include this history of Unix, commands and utilities, file system structure, shells, graphical user interfaces, networking, text editing and shell programming.
